The #1 reason pregnant mamas take our birth classes is to learn how to manage the pain during labour.

We've taken our most popular topic and offered it seperately in a workshop format to get you the information you need.

We take a holistic approach to labour preparation and pain management.

We teach you about all of the different pain medications available to you at your chosen birth place, the pros and cons of each as well as all of our natural coping strategies that we use at births with our clients.

What this Course is Not

A lot of people think doulas are anti-pain medications for labour and pro-natural birth.

But that is a HUGE myth.

The truth is we support all kinds of births and choices for pain management.

Our job is to make sure you have all the information you need to make informed choices.

We don't just talk about the natural way of dealing with pain but also the different medications available to you so that you know what your options are. There is no "right way" to give birth-we're just help you figure out what the right way for you is.

This course is perfect for you if:

  • you're doing this for the first time and are overwhelmed by all of the information out there and don't know where to start
  • you've had a baby before and need a refresher if it's been a while
  • you've done this before and felt unprepared for your previous experience and want to be more informed this time with more tools to deal with pain
